More than a dozen passers-by ignored a two year old girl while she was seriously injured in a street in southern China after being hit twice, said the official Xinhua news agency Monday.

The incident provoked outrage in China immensely popular social media sites.

Surveillance cameras showed a number of people passing by the little girl named Yue Yue, after the first hit by a van and a truck in front of the store of his family in the southern city of Foshan, China.
