Interbuild is the leading built environment exhibition, featuring hundreds of exhibitors offering a variety of building structures, solutions, products and materials. This year’s event will for the first time feature Interbuild Specifier, a show created for anyone responsible for designing, commissioning or managing building stock.

As well as being able to source new suppliers, the exhibition is an opportunity to see building solutions in action and gain inspiring yet practical ideas. Central to this will be Sustainability Street, a living, breathing showcase of buildings from a number of key sectors, including affordable housing. Comprising of a series of real life structures, visitors will be able to walk around the buildings and see, touch and test the products and materials used to construct them. Interbuild Specifier will also feature a free conference, tackling the big issues affecting the construction industry, with Monday 19 October devoted to housing. Topics include ‘Unlocking the potential of social housing’, and feature speakers from the Homes and Communities Agency, Galliford Try and English Partnerships. These sessions will bring together those actively managing UK housing to debate these issues with the architects, planners and developers responsible for their construction.
